Santa Fe Dam Kayak Fishing | Aug. 2, 2026

Since someone took the license plate from my boat trailer last week at Puddingstone, i had to dust off the old kayak. Only had 3hrs. to fish (6am-9am) and it was a tough bite. Nothing for the first 45 minutes with multiple crankbaits and swim jig both micro and full size. Finally found some fish busting bait and put the Megabass Karashi to work. Found a few up in the stuff also to end the morning with about 7-8 fish, nothing big but it was fun be back out on the kayak.
