Ive snapped a Ultralight flipping a trout into my boat lol. I was too lazy to net it. But yeah and my buddy snapped his edge rod banking a chinook so I feel your pain. Check the warranty feom dealer cause you didnt close a door on it they may replace it for you.
Better go buy same rod n return the broken one a week later😅
