Sam Rayburn MARCH Bass FISHING

Cole and I are fishing the Skeeter Bass Champs tournament on Sam Rayburn.
It’s early spawn and the bass are moving in to the shallows

We mainly fished inside of coves where we assumed the largemouth bass would be spawning. We did get a nice limit but decided to let them go at the ramp when we heard it was going to take about 18lbs to get a paycheck. It’s always best to let them swim if you know you’re not going to get paid vs putting them through the weigh in process.

We used minnow style baits and our Garmin 12/22 livescope to catch them.
