Saltwater Fly Fishing UK | More Topwater Action!

I feel like a bit of a one trick pony at the moment but the topwater fishing has just been too good and too consistent not to make the most of!

What did make the session in this video a bit different and more exciting than usual was that the area I fished was full of sprat and the birds and bass were feeding hard.

Possibly one of my most action packed sessions to date, the excitement didn’t seem to come across on the camera though. I also apologise for how shaky the early morning part of the footage is, the GoPros stabilisation cuts out when light levels are too low.

I’m off to Chew Valley with my Dad next week to hopefully catch some BIG pike, and assuming we don’t blank there will be a video to follow.
