I’ve had 3 of those frogs in the last 2 weeks and they work awesome!but none of them lasted through 1 day,big bass rip the legs off them.still worth it though because it gets big bass to bite.

I found the 1/4 oz frog works better where i live. The 1/2 oz seems to get strikes but they dont always get the body. I should say i get more hook ups on the 1/4

You should be using 40 pound braided line minimum. Much easier hooksets and you will never a 8 dollar frog
Absolutely love those frogs (lunker hunt)! Have 6-10 of them, the bluegill with the prop tail is a good one too. You must be further upstate than me. We watch the same YouTube fishermen. One you may want to check out is SBfishing, a ton of good fishing, info, and destinations.

Mark since you are new to upstate lakes, allow me to share with you my go to surface lure from the years and age of 17 to 52 (1975-2010)the Hula popper large size I think it was 1 and 7//8 I fish two weeks in june and three in sept, never had a pike hit it, ??
I never used the little one in all those years
the big one got me the usual "10 -16" but over those last ten years I know I got a couple of 4 and 5 and my biggest was a 7, 1/2 which I proudly let live
