  1. I have been throwing glide for about 3 years now, started slowly working up the expensive big baits but haven't paid more than 100 for one yet. But after learning glides and what each bait does well I need to get a deps and Roman made. The negotiator will be my first really expensive glide.

  2. Shoooooooo!!!! Those bad boys might land some monsters but…….. I don't have any gear to throw those things!! I have some smaller glide baits and some that have killer swim action. But 7 inch is too big for my gear. I just worked on variations of the"free rig" and found a few great modifications that work awesome on a baitcaster. Pearl D Bomb on a EWG hook has been really good to me the past few weeks. Now with the hot weather and lake evaporating down 6 feet, I may have to go to this new japanese bait called Bone Doctor. Very alien looking bait but has more action than anything I've seen in a while

  3. These are the reason I got into making my own baits. I fully understand why they cost what they do, but I just can't justify buying one. I made my first glide bait using Roman Made as a general idea of what to do, without 100% copying their design. The one thing I did different from many that I've seen making their own glides is using lead shot for the weight, gives it some rattle and it has a rolling action to it if I pop it when it's turned around. I'd have dozens of them made by now if I had more time between work and home life! They're addicting.
