My buddy Ethan and I head over to Rod and Reel in Battle Ground, WA, to build a custom rod with the owner, Tom. In this video, we walk through the rod-building process, from picking out the blank and guides to wrapping the epoxy and completing the final setup.

After that, we take the new rod out and test it on some Pacific Northwest waters.
