We have a rod down! Billy, Nolan and I are back on the Meramec River for some catfish action. We’ve got live bluegill and cut skipjack for bait, and we’re drifting them over some of our favorite holes. Be warned. If you do this, you might have a heart attack when a big fish causes one of your rods to go down!

Nice Blue! I never catch blues on the Meramec. Guess I need a boat to get to the good spots.
That’s just the medium size fish on that river.
I’ve never gotten that big of a catfish on the Meramec!
