We decided to turn off the FFS and go back to fishing the old fashioned way… shallow dirty water, big line, big rods, and big baits. It paid off! We had some fun and caught some nice bass out of some skinny water.

The ALX IKOS Promise 73 paired with a Five Bass Tackle Double Willow Spinnerbait in Acid Back did the heavy lifting and Jimmy caught some nice fish on a buzzbait as well. Fall and early winter are a great time to be bass fishing… not just sitting in a deer stand and watching football.
