Went out for a maiden voyage on the Sangamon river here in Central Illinois. Caught multiple species, and found some interesting stuff along the way. The size of the fish that I caught in the river really surprised me, considering the reputation of the river. It was definitely fun to explore a new body of water and catch some nice fish.

I recognise the model of one of them. It's a 80s/90s Yamaha moto 4, but I can tell from the wheels that it's either a 250 or 350. I have a 93 Yamaha moto 4 350

If they are hondas they will still run but any other brand u need to rebuild the motor
Those atvs were either dumped there from being stolen or they got stuck. Theres also the possibility that the water messed up their motors due to rapid cooling ?

Nice video. as someone from central illinois I alway wondered if the sangamon had any fish in it. all the reports you read are not good. you have given me hope to explore it more in the future. I have to ask where this was? if ya wanna keep it to yourself I would understand. again nice video!!!
