REVEALING My Secret To FINDING Unpressured Bass

In this video I share one of my lil secrets to finding bass that are not pressured. I go into how I was listening to a podcast where they were talking about targeting winter bass.

I share how I look for bass has changed in the recent year. After the bass behavior study done by Todd Driscoll and his team with the Texas Parks and Wildlife on Toledo Bend, my thinking on bass has changed.

The second half of the video I breakdown a lake using my thought process.

  1. Here is my point and 99% of all bass fisherman including pros don’t seem to get. I can give you a great gps spot that I catch a 40lb back from. But you go to that spot and you don’t get a bite why. Because you have to understand Bass behavior and how they respond to conditions. So the spot I gave you is only good under certain conditions.if you only know spots and don’t know bass behavior you going to have a tough time. So always fish the conditions not the spot.

  2. To piggy back to your point I believe guys who don’t have or do have and don’t utilize FFS are “feeling” that bass are being hurt by this tech.. reality is because those fish are being harder to catch simply because of pressure! 🤷🏻‍♂️

  3. Hey coach, can't believe you picked Bull Shoals. You are very correct on the flats. The best ones are back in the creek arms such as Spring Creek, and a lot up here in the Theodosia arm where I am at. The flats that are 6 ft deep now will soon be 25. The road beds are fantastic as the water does come up and post spawn comes along. Good vid!

  4. Man I have been fishing flats over looked by other fisherman, a small piece of cover can hold a giant bass on a flat especially if you come back and sneak up on that cover. But it's not new,I have been doing this for years, it's not pressure from ffs or fisherman, big bass have always done this everywhere. People have been programed by YouTube and magazines to fish points. It's not new for everyone!
