Remember the Havoc Pit Boss? Today I’m fishing doing some late spring bass fishing with a Texas rig and an old favorite, the Pit Boss. At the first location, I notice the water is still stained brown, from recent rain storms. After fan casting open water for a while, without any luck, I focus on fishing the downed trees. This is where I catch my first bass of the day. I catch a 0.5 pound largemouth bass swimming my pit boss near some lay downs. After not getting any more bites, I try another location, and another. I don’t manage any more fish, but I do learn that a giant tree has fallen at one of my spots, The Log! The Pit Boss did ok, which is more than I can say for the old tree. #fishing #realistic

That was a MONSTER of a tree 🌳 down there Alex 😳 wooooooo weeeeeeeeeee!!!!
Thumbs up for the new intro!
I've been using the HAVOC Pit Boss for a long time. Its a great pitching bait. I use a Owner Jungle 5/0 strait shank with a snell knot. Rarely miss a fish. Use to be really reasonably priced plastic. If you leave them on the deck of the boat during the summer or out in the sun they get really soft and the fish have no problem getting hooked. 😉
Yeah Alex we had some nasty storms in San Antonio today, be glad when spring is over and all we have is heat, humidity and garden variety storms 😊 At least you got that nice little bass, beats a skunk for sure!
Nicely done out there on the pit boss brother! Weather has been strange in NJ as well.
Rainy, cold one day, warm the next. Managed a multi yesterday on gulp minnows and a rapala. 3 bluegills, 2 crappie and my first pickerel in couple years.
Berkley discontinued the havoc brand. It was a good value choice.
Tough fishing day. Can be rough out there and such I know for sure as I have trouble catching bluegill for my kitty. Hope to see more.👍
Ill take a dink over the skunk any day! Love the pit boss! Caught one literally at my feet while untangling line on a 3ft rock wall off of a dock! KIR!
He put me on the pit boss when I was in high school best cheap trailer or craw in general you can buy
At least you beat the skunk. Great video Alex!
Howdy Alex, looked comfortable while fishing. Was the tree at skeletor park?
Sup Alex, got one lol. Do have some open but not ready yet, going Wednesday, love the move casting before get to bank, appreciate you, tyvm tc 🎣
Just started using the pit boss and love it
I imagine the fish aren't biting as well because of the weather we have had and the water being way up and now its dropping back down again.
My wife and I went fishing this past Saturday, and it was a bust. Every whete we went was flooded bad. We even waded out onto a boat landing and still nothing.
Glad you are grinding it out and it paid off with a half pounder. Kir.
Why did the snake cross the lake? To get to the other side. And there's the answer to the long-standing question, "How's the snake hanging?"
Weather has been bad here also bro hoping it's getting better soon my friend Alex 🙏❤
looks like the flood waters went down pretty good
The Pit Boss and Baby Brush Hog are your lures. Besides the gulp minnow
Brown water, cicadas and snakes. That’s Realistic. Holy Cow
What's the difference between the Havoc pitboss and the new Berkley? Sounds like everyone prefers the Havoc, but idk the difference…
Good video Alex 🤛
It’s always great seeing your videos my brother and good catch! Thanks for keeping it realistic!
When I see your view of the water I don’t imagine bass in that environment. I see a lawn chair, beer cooler and 3 rods in holders waiting for that big slab catfish. I was just thinking it’s been over 20 years since I caught a lunker carp. Of course I’m wrong lol. Look at the bass 👍🏻
Hi, Alex! I use the HAVOC baits for traíras (Wolf fish) in Brazil. 🇧🇷 They are great! 🤘🏻
Always good to see you fishing!
