Went to Red Bud Isle to fish in the Colorado River. It was a different type of fishing compared to Lady Bird Lake, even though it’s in the same river. The topography differentiated from the two locations. Nonetheless, I managed to hook one on a jig (but did not land it), I think it was a Guadalupe bass, it was way prettier that the other Largemouth Bass. The shaky work came through as well. I was about to leave and talked to another fishermen in a kayak and he said the fish were eating shad, recommended flukes and crank baits. Hence, I went back and saved me from a sad day.
