When the bass are shallow and the shoreline is thick with rocks, timber and other debris that bass just love, the answer to “What should I throw?” is the new OG Big Rocco 6.
“The fact is fish go shallow. Having a bait that allows you to effectively fish heavy cover all year long is how tournaments get won. That’s what the OG Big Rocco 6 is all about,” said Rapala pro and professional bass pro @ottdefoe
The Rapala OG Big Rocco 6 is, by size, the big brother to the OG Rocco 5. It is a buoyant, round balsa bait with a square circuit board lip. Highly castable with medium rolling action, it deflects through cover and backs out of sticky situations.
“The Big Rocco is larger than the original Rocco,” said DeFoe. “We wanted a larger profile bait that runs down to six feet when fished with 14 lb. line.”
