Rain, Trout & Camp Stove Fails at Deer Creek Conservation Area

—Join GONE1970 as we head to Deer Creek Conservation Area for a camping and fishing trip packed with rain, beautiful sunsets, great fishing, and a few surprises along the way.

This trip had a little bit of everything: trout fishing, bass potential, campfire cooking, Kicking Horse dark roast coffee in the morning, bacon and eggs for breakfast, and fresh trout later in the day. The lovely Lesley Stratford joins the adventure, bringing good company to a great little camping and fishing destination.

We also put two camp stoves to the test:
