Rain Storms and Big Bass on Apache Lake!

Apache Lake is quickly becoming my favorite bass fishing lake in Arizona! Known for giant largemouth bass, unbeatable desert scenery, and light fishing pressure, Apache Lake has all the ingredients for an incredible day on the water. Add in a rainstorm and you’ve got the perfect setup to trigger some big bites!

In today’s video, we head out to Apache Lake bass fishing to see if we can land some of the giant desert bass this lake is famous for. You don’t always get to choose perfect weather conditions when fishing so we embraced the challenge and fished through a storm. While rain might keep most anglers off the water, it’s something I actually look forward to because it often gets the bigger bass feeding. Today was no exception!

We kicked things off by experimenting with different bass fishing techniques and lures to figure out what the fish wanted. As the morning went on, we started landing several quality largemouth bass in a short amount of time. The bites kept coming throughout the day, and my dad capped things off with a solid fish late in the trip.
