Pre-spawn Swim Jig Tactics and Tips for Largemouth Bass

  1. Hey bud thanks for the great tips for swimjig fishing. You answered some questions I had about this kind of fishing. I'm going to use the 6th sense swimjig not the heavy one. But when I move to Texas I'm wondering if I should use the heavy one just because big fish alot of lake's in Texas have grass and a lot of wood cover and alot of the lakes don't have crystal clear water and in that situation I probably should use braid. Give me your thoughts on fishing Texas waters with a swimjig. GOD bless you and your family.

  2. Excellent point about light wire hooks, I completely agree. I fish the Lake Michigan shoreline in Chicago, CRAZY CLEAR WATER! Jigs with light wire hooks allow me to get a great hookup percentage, but also allow me to drop down to pretty small pound test fluorocarbon to entice line shy fish.
