Potholes Reservoir largemouth bass fishing July 12, 2026

It’s been pretty windy this summer but manageable this morning. The water level is down about 7 feet and fish are moving down the drains to their summer spots. Water was between 72°F and 74°F. I caught most of them today on the dirty jigs swim jig and a Texas rigged Zoom lizard in 4-8 ft. Schools of fish were on flats and points that drop off into the channels.
