Potholes Reservoir bass fishing in July

Potholes is down about 5 1/2 feet. Water temp was 71°. I pulled up on my first spot and caught 3 in 6 casts and then nothing for about 1 1/2 hours. Moved to another spot and got a couple. Made another move and found a school of 1.5 -2 pounders and a pretty good walleye.
