POND HOPPING NORTH CAROLINA – BIG BASS couldn't resist the SWIM JIG

Today started as a failure at a small pond in central North Carolina. I quickly decided there was no way I was leaving with out a fish! I decided to look around and found a nearby hiking trail that bordered a golf course loaded with ponds. I started out with a senko, but quickly realized the fish were chasing bait up shallow. As soon as that swim jig got tied on, I couldn’t keep them off my line. Sometimes you have to switch things up. Theres nothing like that jig bite!!
