Pond Bass Fishing – Toad Edition

Pond bass fishing can really be fun at times. This is one of those days when the fish are really just wanting to eat. Glad my buddy invited me out to this pond to experience so good Texas pond bass fishing! I know I got super exited over that fish but man it is like Christmas morning when a toad slams a top water lure! Hope you guys enjoyed and make sure to hit that THUMBS UP!!!

  1. With the spinning rod it seemed like your hook set was just reeling up on them and not lifting up hard like with the baitcaster, is that a better technique for spinning rods or just for wacky rigged senkos? I noticed that Gary Yamamoto seemed to do the same thing in your other video with his spinning rod and it looked like it was texas rigged. I bass fish mostly with spinning rods and I use the typical reel up the slack and then hit them with a hard lift to set the hook, it seems to work great but I still want to improve me technique to catch more bass. Thanks for the videos!
