The Jackall Pompadour Jr. is hands down the most unique topwater lure I have ever used. It has wings on the side and a propeller on the back. Because it is so noisy, it makes it a perfect choice for windy days because it helps the fish locate it. We have used the Bone, Frog, and Gill Bone colors and they have all caught fish. I know I am 3 years late to comment on this video , but this was awesome!!! Thanks for the tip at the end too, I just got my first pompadour and was planning on replacing the hooks, and its good to know the back hook cannot be replaced.

very cool lure – reminds me of my crazy crawler (except your paint job is MUCH nicer)
Why can't you change the hook? Cut the stock hook off, add hyperwire split ring, then put the new hook. I don't know about the full size but the Jr you better cut the hook off. I've had that stock hook come off and saw it happen to a partners as well

I just cought my first fish on a hollow body frog. I get a lot of bites and miss them because I get to excited and set the hook to early and tips on how to keep me from doing that?
