Been using the mag draft and slowl for pike for a few years now with great success. Very soft baits so buy some mend it to fix those expensive lures

Ye well done Dan,eye no some people are scared of pike but,they should not be fishing for them if they can't unhook them safely,the worst thing for a pike is a trace down its gut then it can't feed and it will die,so if unsure go out with someone who is sure for pike safety 👍🐊❤️

Ok Dan, it's confession time, last year I had a good pike break me off on the take, I was dead baiting. Two hours later I catch the same fish with my lost trace sticking out it's mouth, both treble hooks were out of sight, so all I could do was feed the trace and six inches of line through the gills and cut it as short as i could, I only hope it made it, great video as always.
Dan can you try fishing on the Rapala octus mate. I fish this in the 17cm range??

I had also reported it to you on Instagram last week that I had caught such a big pike in the same week as you, 95cm but I don't know how heavy because I don't have a scale but she was heavy and fat, what a kick!
Weldone on saving the pike bud but I what to know about fishing for pike when spawning can you still catch good size pike at this time.
wire looks strong enough. that's probably a crap joining knot that gave or weak mainline?

Well done Dan for saving that pikes life , people shouldn't be dead baiting if they haven't the experience to strike quickly or unhook properly. Maybe it had a fat stomach because it was Swollen by the hooks .I'm waiting for my delivery from my orders off you , can't wait to try the shad out , keep doing what your doing and thankyou 👍
He cant say owt.. no unhooking mat and fishes for pike through summer and job lot so just as bad
