The first tournament of the year for the South Carolina division is on Lake Murray, SC. A cold, rainy day made it extremely tough out there but I was able to piece together a decent limit.

Ive been out to lake murray about 4 times in 2021 on the kayak and got skunked all 4 times. been lauching out of the hilton public ramp on the northeast end. Ive been fishing the area around the attractor up there (around 15-20 feet) with swim baits and cranks and got nothing. Anyone have any tips on tackle or spots in that area of the lake that I should be looking for to get bites?
I also fished that tourney. Miserable is not the word. A lot of zero's that day. My boater did everything he could to put us on fish. Got some really good bites but nothing held on. Good job. Look forward to seeing how santee will go! Good luck!
