My dad and I headed out on the Perdido River for a little father-son bass fishing challenge — and we put $20 on whoever could catch the biggest bass!
After weeks of rain, the river had been flooded and fishing conditions were tough. The water had finally dropped enough for us to launch the boat, so we decided to take advantage of it and see if we could find some feeding bass.
Things started off slow, but eventually we found a spot where the bass were feeding. And somehow, my dad — fishing from the BACK of the boat — started catching more bass than I was!
He ended up catching a really good bass but was it enough?
After fishing, we stopped by my family’s property to give you guys an update on the progress of our new house and our dream boat garage. We’ve got a lot going on, and it’s exciting to finally see everything starting to come together.
