It was the highlight of my trip to not only connect with one of the top peacock bass gurus of South Florida, but to catch so many Peacock bass in such a short time!!! Live shiners were the ticket! Artificial lures can work, but to really experience the action and give yourself the best chance at landing one of these spectacular fish, it’s the only way to go (at least this time of year).

Nice fishing Bro, I didn't know that Peacock bass (tucunarรฉ) was already in florida.That spot that looklike a eye at the tail of the fish is a way that the peacock bass use to cheat the piranha because the piranhas always attack the tail of the fish first and for cheat the piranhas making their think that is the head o fish, a lot of fish at amazon river have this caracteristics.
