Patoka Lake Bass Fishing | Tony Bennett Memorial Foundation Big Bass Tournament | Early Spring

I have mentored a guy named Matt for the last couple of years. He loves fishing as much if not more than any human on earth. See Matt is not the best at things and needs a lot of help. Most would be glad to help him any day but on a big money tournament…… maybe not. I put all of that aside and wanted him to live his dream. A dream to fish a bass tournament! Not just any bass tournament but one where he could win big money and a awesome trophy. This is Matt’s journey during practice and the tournament.

The Bass Tournament was on Patoka Lake in Indiana and hosted by The Tony Bennett Memorial Foundation. For more info about what they do and how they help check out their website below. Next year the payout will be over $5,000 so mark your calendars! All in all everyone had a great day on the lake even though it was flooded at 10 feet higher than summer pool. A lot of big fish were put on the scales. At the end everyone walked away with something ether it be a raffle drawing, trophy, hat, giveaways and much more.
