Paddleboard Fishing Adventure: DIY Setup, Bass Catches & Painful Mistakes!

3 days. One upgraded paddleboard. Largemouth bass… and some big mistakes.

In this episode, I took on the challenge of fishing for largemouth bass from my stand-up paddleboard (SUP). With new gear installed—including a cooler, rod holders, and essential safety upgrades—I hit the water excited and (mostly) prepared. What followed was a 3-day adventure full of lessons, surprises, and some great fish.

🛠️ **Day 1 – The Upgrade & Lake Erie Bass**
I walk you through the new SUP fishing setup and hit Lake Erie to test it out. I managed to hook into a few largemouth bass—but the excitement was cut short when I started feeling sick and had to cut the trip early.

☀️ **Day 2 – Sunburn Central**
Back on the water, but this time I forgot sunscreen. Spoiler: rookie mistake. My skin paid the price, and the fishing didn’t go much better. A painful but humbling reminder to never forget the basics.

🏞️ **Day 3 – Redemption on the Reservoir**
Determined to end on a high note, I set out to a local reservoir. This time I landed more bass, got a better handle on my paddleboard setup, and started to get a real feel for SUP fishing.
