Choke Canyon Reservoir is one of THE MOST INFAMOUS lakes in the entire country. Like every other lake, it does however have it’s ups and downs in terms of angler success. In 2019 Choke picked up significantly after a relatively long down time. While the lake isn’t quite as hot as it was throughout last year, it’s still fishing better than most lakes could ever dream of! February 9th 2021, I headed with my dad and uncle to whack on some Choke Canyon studs. It started off a little lackluster, especially in size, but when things got right, things got RIGHT!
