Only Boat Out – Tog Fishing in Heavy Winds

The 2025 Fall Blackfish Season will be known, at least here in NY, for the relentless wind. I mean, it’s been blowing non-stop almost since the season opened back in mid-October.

This late November trip, my second to last charter of 2025, was no exception and was easily the roughest day I ventured out all year.

Warning, you will hear a LOT of wind noise in this video. That’s what happens when you venture out in 20 to 25 mph winds. Kudos to my clients Darren, Joe and Brendan for braving the elements.
