  1. You know what they say, if you don't have any haters you're not doing something right. Keep on keeping on man. I watch every single one of your videos n I love them. I do a lot of "urban" fishing as well. You n Nick from 618 fishing are my favorites!! Keep em coming man

  2. Don't know about koi but orange carp seemed to wreck the Bass fishing in our pond. They took over quick.we trapped them in the brook at spawning time and forced them to adjacent pond with few fish in it. didn't seem to help

  3. Such a stunning fish. Just because it's a pond, doesnt make it easy, over fished ponds seem to be even kore difficult imo. That said, just caught a huge bass in a tiny retention pond yesterday on 6lb, such a blast!

  4. I was fishing in Michigan in a river adjacent to a large park. I was catching carp on bran flakes, just get it wet in your hand make a ball around your hook, and toss it out there and they will find it! They are an invasive species so when we caught them, we hung them in a tree for the raccoons to eat. You would come back the next day and all left is the skin and bones in the tree. We had 3 monsters 25 to 30 pounds in the tree and a guy from England came along and saw the fish in the tree and had a shit fit! He was pissed and told us we were the lowest form of life and we should be put in jail! I told him to calm down, these are garbage fish and eat the eggs of bass perch and other sport fish. In fact, in Michigan, the DNR tells you to just kill them and throw them in the trash. In England, carp are a sport fish (Who knew) and they catch and release them. We would hang them and come back the next day and toss the carcasses in the trash when the coons got done with them. I have heard of guys feeding them to their pigs and some keep them for bear bait in the early fall.

  5. People don't understand that there's a certain science to catching fish and once you get it down it almost is like fish in a barrel. Fish have behavioral patterns you can pick up on. And I guarantee you that most of these kinds he fishes gets beat with lured thy just have health fish populations

  6. I've tried sight fishing these giant koi in the LA city ponds so many times and it's impossible to ever get them to even sniff anything other than corn or any other carp bait. I can't believe he ate a swimbait.

  7. Ty, you have been catching some awesome fish recently. You and your friendly rival, 618 fishing , are neck and neck with viewers.
I would like to propose a challenge: you versus 618 fishing to see who can catch the most fish and a one week challenge. You guys pick efficient spots you guys pick the bats and your set ups and keep tabs and let lots of yours know who would win?

  8. @TyPigPatrol – That is absolutely the most gorgeous koi I’ve ever seen. In the hands of the right breeder that fish is worth hundreds of thousands of dollars for it and its offspring…

  9. That koi was what the Japanese call a doitsu sanke. Doitsu means scaleless and sanke is the type of koi with white, red, and black. It was pretty nice and the size makes it worth a bit, but its body shape was not great. Cool fish though!
