Nobody's Doing This Cold Water CHATTERBAIT Fishing
A cahtterbait is considered an early spring through late fall bait in the Midwest, especially when water temps drop into the mid 40’s. I like to experiment with different baits to see if they produce in certain conditions. I get tired of throwing a jerkbait, Alabama rig anf jighead minnow sometimes. In this video we were coming off a winter warming trend and even though the water temps were 44 degrees, I found a solid bite on the ole chatterbox. Here’s how the day went.
