4100 fishermen have signed up.
A Carp wouldn’t be a Huge Loss Either. They are a Dime a Dozen!! LOL. 🐟 🎣 😁🤪
I was there recently and could not find any bass or other predatory fish. I did see a million carp like the ones you caught, but impossible to catch on the fly.
Would you consider fishing at the Lake Livingston spillway??
Or Lake Conroe??
HOW DO YOU GO ABOUT FISHING THE PLACES YOU PICK TO FISH?
Nice video! What is your rod, reel, and line set up in the first part of your video? It looks like a light rod?
This rod
nreel reminds me of my light bass fishing gear…. which is what I caught the 6lb Grinill (Bowfin) on. I had 2 spoolsof line, 1 w/ 10lb & another w/ 4lb test. This is a big fish for most people on any rod but that's a nice little rig you have.
Fun to watch…. I fished hard but only have stories, you're doing it & have video of it. WoW….. peace
Uh, shouldn't you have destroyed the tilapia?
Never knew the bubbles were carp, always thought they were turtles. Might have to start casting on the bubbles now. Great-sized fish and a great video as always!
9:10 is that pond liner sticking out there ?
Cool species labeling! I like it. Don't get it wrong or you'll anger the peanut gallery 😂
this won't be possible once china takes over. you will bow to the emperor's coy pond.
The one spot I miss the most after moving from Houston. Fished there at least twice a week for 2 years but the gnats this year were terrible.
I really like your new little "fish loadout" on the screen as you show us your catch! Provides a nice digestible peice of information and a name to associate with an image! Good stuff!
Also, I really enjoy watching you fish on light rods/ tackle, the monster fish are super exciting and fun to watch, but as a total newbie with an interest in fishing now that i know its fun: my total experience (very little as I have only been fishing once before the few days I got in on my last vacation) is on a rig similar to that one! My first and only landing was an (almost legal) walleye! I also hooked a "big" fish the next day (probably a large pike) that took me for a ride, but I didn't know what drag was, and it was turned off, so I tried to prevent him diving under the boat by countering his force and reeling… he took my lure as a souvenier 😅 I have picked up a decent amount of things I was missing just observing your technique on youtube!
4.5 hours is a long wait. Usually after 15 minutes or so I'll reel my line in to make sure my bait is still there. Nice catches.
200th comme
holy fk that first fight was mad long just land that shit already jesus. buddy taking the fish for a walk…
The one and only time I was there I was devoured by mosquitoes. Needless to say I didn’t last 4-1/2 hours.
The only time I've ever seen anyone fishing for gar, I was about 7 at some river in Arkansas and guys were using bows with reels.
Where
Screw rain or waves on the beech, is there a channel that just plays ripping drag to fall asleep, too?
Hooked my first small mouth gar on a rattle trap in a small creek under 288 it was the coolest thing ever lost him at the bank though
My daughter calls them pirate fish. You know: "Garrrrr"
Can you refer me a phone/camera stand holder that can be sticked into the ground
Great catches… Also, I appreciate you naming the fish each time including their Binomial Nomenclature. Thanks!
