  1. I haven’t used the panorama in this way with the ozark rig head, but I’ve used it in brush with similar success rigging it on a belly weighted or keel weighted screw lock swimbait hook. Adjust the weight for your needs. Tube same way.

  2. @ funkymojo…. Jonny has been putting out some of the best info. on the web for many years now and has been very unbiased across the board. If it’s good then he will say so. If not he will tell you that as well. Example being abu Garcia black max real great for the money which is an absolute fact. I use them even as a tournament angler. If core tackle equipment is good, which it is, he is simply putting the word out. As he always has. Best of luck with your new subscription! 😅

  3. Jonny, I hate to say it, but I have not had the same experience using the Ozark rig in brush. I find it easy gets wedged up against branches with the way the weight hangs below the bait. I've been rigging it through the top side of the worm, rather than the point of the worms head, so maybe I should try it the later way.

  4. Jonny, The Ozark Rig has caught me hundreds of LM bass this year. Two minnow style baits that work for me: BBB Jerk Minnow 5" (smoke MF pearl color) and Jackall Rhythm Wag 3.8" on a 1/8oz 4/0 hook. Most of the fish hit it on the fall but I also catch them with a slow crank back in. If you rig the bait straight the bait will move side to side like a fluke. My best bait for the Rig is a BPS Stick-O 6" worm. I would like to see a paint color to match these shad colored baits, hint.

  5. Good information, would like to know for the basstrix when, where and how you would fish it. I assume more like a worm and popping it up and down off the bottom. Still trying to understand for time of year what to be throwing.
