In this video I show you how to find some of the most hidden bass in the lake that never get fished for – but now you can using your sonar. We user a variety of jigs and swimbait to catch some big bass chasing baitfish in the middle of the lake.
Want the fishing lures, fishing rods, and all the fishing gear and hats?

This is literally the hardest way to catch bass
Great video and tips and techniques!!
But, deer season is arriving..
That bent rod!!! Dope!
Very much enjoyed that, great video and you are very much in the know on the Harris chain, love that lake and have fished it a lot, keep sharing your knowledge.
Great video!
So I don't have advanced electronics…just regular hummingbird that has a GPS.
I live on lake conway in orlando fl…it has lots of 20 to 30 ft holes…kind of like lake butler. Am I just looking for offshore bait balls essentially?
Thx
Here in the Northeast, I fished that style of fishing a lot, especially as we move into the fall season. Your video is given me some other baits options when I'm sitting out there fishing with no bank in sight and oftentimes no other fishermen. Good stuff, always enjoy how much fun you have fishing, and you're willingness to share with everybody what you learn and what you know. Look forward to future content.
That's alot of giants sir! Well done…
Wish I had 5Gs to spend on that live unit, what a game changer. My friends winning tourneys all over with it. Takes a lot of the guessing out of it, just gotta find what there biting on.
always dropping the HEAT!
AWESOME" MIKEY!!!!
Iam sorry bro but I won鈥檛 be showing my friends this video hahahahahah haha
Wow. Nice job Mikey. Thanks for sharing.
I hear you man it's wild that you put in this video up I went with a buddy of mine as a nice boat with great electronics to a local lake we start searching out in the middle of nowhere and found a giant School of bait fish and bass over a bridge we caught 70 fish without moving it was amazing馃憤馃敟馃敟
is that guntersville? or the big O? just curious
That is my weakness is to fish out in the middle like that great vid I鈥檒l have to try it the next time I go 馃敟馃帲馃敟馃帲馃憤馃徎馃帲
Awesome !!!!!!!#real fishing !!!!
I hit the like button before the video even starts. Because Bog has to eat guys!!
Nothing like fishin where no one else does. I call it fresh tracks love it keep em coming RIPSUMLIPZ
Excellent. Got me some hair jigs coming.
Great video, especially on getting suspended fish in open water feeding on large bait balls! One thing to consider, is when talking about hunting for fish using the active target, is to provide tips for those who don't have one. I know it's a bit of a challenge as it seems critical to have the live image so you can follow the school, but that's where your insight on how to do it would be key.
Keep up the great work, and say Hello to Bog for us!! We can't wait to see him back on the boat with you again once the weather cools!!!
My dude you have a stockpile of slx DCs!
Good video Mikey. For those of us that don鈥檛 have electronics showing fish swimming around it would be good for us if you showed those suspended fish and what they look like on regular 2D sonar. Thanks
I'm going to go out on a limb here and say you like the Active Target! I was going to buy one earlier this year but nobody had one. I've gotten busy with my new boat garage and haven't though about it lately. BTW, you'll have to come by and check out the new garage!
this works really well on blueback lakes too. had 28 1/4 for my best 5 this spring but in 30-60 feet
Awesome advice thanks mike we appreciate you bro
Man i 馃憖 the screen on the garmin i feel for ya..a tungsten flippin weight ??
Another great video and info!!!
Look into the livescanner unit for your active target transducer. You can lock in and turn it without worrying about the trolling motor..I've got one and it's a game changer!
Mickey do you cast directly into the wind current or 45 deg. off to each side? Maybe I鈥檓 overthinking the position of bait fish swimming into the wind current with bass following behind and having the lure swimming with the current into their face.
