  1. Thanks for showcasing Mike Gilbert’s tyrant swimbait. Yeah I agree, soft swimbaits get bigger bites and will get longer holds especially if scent is applied.

    Reminds me of back when I was on instagram, watching the Japanese guys using DSR catching hogs in the middle of winter on the Dead Slow Retrieve, even bought a some PhatLabs nekosogi lures. They still call it that?(dsr)
    I wasn't interested in the Tyrant when it came out and Mike was saying to use it on top, but damn — after watching your vids over the winter I regret not getting one.
    I got some old(discontinued) wooden magnum zara spooks NIB, rainbow trout color and others, and if you want some for your collection(or if you go meet those 2 guys that fish for Japanese Sea Bass at night with topwaters), I'll trade you a couple for a Tyrant 8 :p
