Buddy James and I head out for an after-dark fishing mission on Lake Conroe to target big bass holding under dock green lights. It’s been a long time since we’ve fished the lake at night, and filming these fish has always been a challenge — but we finally made it happen.

Despite dealing with technical issues, a dead trolling motor, cold temps, and drifting light-to-light, the bass showed up. We caught multiple solid fish, including some thick, healthy Lake Conroe bass feeding under the lights. This is exactly the kind of night fishing bite I’ve wanted to share with you guys for years.
