Fun trip to Newton Lake in Illinois to get some cabin fever off. Caught most of our fish on red baits. The water temp was 52 at the ramp and 64 on the north end. Dixie Custom Rods did alot of work like always.

Went there this Friday and the plant was not running.boated one fish all day but it was a 5.6 water temp was 43 at the launch and 41 at tge power lines.the plant started running early sat. Morning and pushed the temps up at tge powerlines to 60 but with the cold front the fishing was terrible. Sunday morning woke up to 2in. Of snow covering the boat so we called it and went home. Worst weekend yet at newton.
Does the power plant run consistently? Does run intermittently, like sangchris?
