If you haven't already there's a lake in New Mexico called Elephant Butte, and there is some catfish in it that has been cought that where somewhere around 50 or so pounds. Some people say that the reason behind them being so big is because of all the dead bodies that they eat.
You should look into its history a little if you plan on going or even if you dont go stll look it up its a creepy story.
