The past 12 months I committed to a soft swimbait every single trip, from 2" up…and I caught more fish on them than any other bait -by far! Since I have decades of fishing other baits it may take some time for the swimbait to be my #1 of all time…but it won't be very long at this pace! 1/8" plain round ball head seems pretty great. I go up or down in weight as needed for the depth. Love how they hit the swimbait too…no doubt, no question…bam, they hit it hard.
Can see me skip casting these for mangrove jack
