This talk has been played out. When has fishing ended up here where everyone cares about what someone else is doing. Ffs doesn’t affect you or anyone else. If you don’t like it don’t use it. If you do use it. Every one complaining about it isn’t fishing against these pros. If you don’t like watching it. Don’t watch. Catch fish how you want.
Guys, the only thing good that I can say about offshore fishing with FFS is that the shallow water fish are being left alone for those of us that do not use FFS.
The most expensive technology using FFS combined with the cheapest baits/lures 😂🤣😂

I do not agree with Randy very often, but I don’t believe he said anything misleading or deceptive about the baits. He said jerk baits. Then used the Megabass as example. Same with the swim baits. Nothing wrong about what he did.
Would it be possible for you to demonstrate the different tournament series and their hierarchy?
Dude, eventually you gotta get off the FFS train. How about teaching us how to use other lures to catch bass not associated with FFS if that’s what your passionate about. Your better then that Randy. You’ve got more knowledge then almost anyone. Use that to help us catch them the traditional way.

Yep seen it first hand seems the color was morning dawn robo worm got it done for me it was the jerkbaits I’m still mixing old school with new school I’ve become a scoper to compete at the BFL level my style has changed so much cause what tourney fishing has become did not set out to change but 7 years running live sonar Garmin’s has changed me without even knowing not till this season did I realize when I was dropping on them damiki style did I realize this wow becareful warning to anglers you may never fish the same again or even be in tune to know what’s really happening on the lake
Mega bass is just so over priced
This data is only useful if you fish the same waters as these tournaments. I live and fish only in Florida and the only places you see tournaments here is The Harris chain and Toho. I can assure you the best baits here in Florida are not those baits.

Weenie worms work better than whiney worms. The river (St.Lawrence) has completely changed since the 80’s. The same places we caught fish before, and the lures we used then, aren’t necessarily the same where and what we fish today. Zebra, Quagga, Goby are the 3 operative words. The fishing is still epic. It’s just that you can’t enjoy it because you don’t want to change, and that’s entirely OK.
I've used so many different small swimbaits now. By far my 2 favorites past few years for small ones has been spark shads & hazedong shads.
“Spotlighting.” You are spot on Randy. I am so bored watching guys staring at a screen. This makes me a guy staring at a screen, watching another guy staring at a screen. Mind numbing. I would rather remain a bank beater.

A lot of the reason drop shotting and weenie worming are catching so many fish, is because of the fishing pressure. We want to think that bass fishing is on a downward trend, but I’m not seeing it at all. There are far more guys on the water in my neck of the woods than there were thirty or fourth years ago.
