An easy trick that always works for me to un-snag my lure is to reel straight down to it and give your rod a little shake it should pop out if you didn't yank your hook through what it's hooked on

Fishing with expensive lures: make sure to bring a lure retriever. Use a crappy old rod and reel (a broken in half rod is preferred). String it with heavy, heavy braid and tie the lure retriever to that thing.
This is it this is the best LoJo video of all times. The big fail is by far and away the best clip of all time. It makes us all feel incredibly at home because that rod vs. swimsuit is just SAP when I fish. So good more failure please.

Honestly yes giant swimbaits will catch monster bass, but I actually prefer the keitech 4 inch swimbaits better, caught an 8 pounder on it, and a 6.
