  1. Makes sense. I finally got the dobyns 867. Nothing fancy, so when it breaks or when i forget it at the lake, i don't feel so bad.

  2. My set up for 3-8+Oz is a 8’6” irod gen3 extra heavy paired up with an Okuma Citrix 364, 20lb izorline copolymer line. I totally agree with having a faster tip. My 8’ gen3 is basically a broomstick! Fuckn hate it!

  3. I see a lot of big bait guy’s using 25lb, 35lb, and higher floro and mono… it seems a bit heavy to me! Especially here in So Cal where the bass are highly pressured and line shy! I typically keep it 15-20lb no higher. Your thoughts would be much appreciated, thank you 🎣🤙

  4. Newbie here, what rod would you use to throw a Keitech FAT Swing Impact 6.8" with a Owner Beast 8/0 or 10/0? Oh yeah i live in WISCONSIN so won't be dragging teeners in.

  5. I love your videos and you're giving me more and more confidence and enthusiasm to get out on the water and start to learn the art of fishing with swimbaits. Keep up the awesome work! Best wishes to you and your family!
