How much does the citizen way?
Overkill like a MFr 😆
Quick research says that's $1k rig. Any good combos in the $300 to $500 range for those not as dedicated ?
Do you recommend 20 lb test for the 6 inch Hudds?
Makes sense. I finally got the dobyns 867. Nothing fancy, so when it breaks or when i forget it at the lake, i don't feel so bad.
My set up for 3-8+Oz is a 8’6” irod gen3 extra heavy paired up with an Okuma Citrix 364, 20lb izorline copolymer line. I totally agree with having a faster tip. My 8’ gen3 is basically a broomstick! Fuckn hate it!
Super awesome info bro 😎
Dude makes total sense 👍
What gear ratio 6 or 5? The link doesn’t work anymore. On tackle warehouse they only have the 6.2:1
I see a lot of big bait guy’s using 25lb, 35lb, and higher floro and mono… it seems a bit heavy to me! Especially here in So Cal where the bass are highly pressured and line shy! I typically keep it 15-20lb no higher. Your thoughts would be much appreciated, thank you 🎣🤙
Respect.
i’ve been trying to find an ldc 7’9” MH rod. but i’m not paying $200+ over retail. which is already $350.
Good instructions allabout.wiki/e5pj if you look at the two parts, plastic cover and metal sprocket you'll realize that you just use the plastic cover and not use the metal one, then the screw will work fine.
It's 2020 and I'm here because I was confused about which swimbait rod to get. Thanks for taking the time to make this. Subscribed!
I just got a 401, and I keep back backlashing throwing the 9" battles shad. What are your brake settings for that bait?
Lovely video l allso prefer one all-round rod thanks for your advice 👍🎣
Newbie here, what rod would you use to throw a Keitech FAT Swing Impact 6.8" with a Owner Beast 8/0 or 10/0? Oh yeah i live in WISCONSIN so won't be dragging teeners in.
I only have one rod,and it does it all,I feel the same way and I really like consistency 👊👊👍
Nice set up, Mike. What rod do you use to throw the hinkle trout on?
Lots of respect from italy.
Are you left handed?
I love your videos and you're giving me more and more confidence and enthusiasm to get out on the water and start to learn the art of fishing with swimbaits. Keep up the awesome work! Best wishes to you and your family!
like this…. I've been seeing those with the 100 rods in the kayaks also walking shorelines … kills me.
