  1. 1st- great videos. 2nd- how the heck do shoot a decent instructional video with a toddler running around? I can’t do nothing when mine gets going

  2. Only professional I can stand watching thanks for being normal and not a Howard lol and I have kids that I deal with the same things you deal with as far as the kids go lol!! Thanks for the advice brother!! Jbass fishing h.c fisherman.😊

  3. Okay man I usually always leave a comment on your channels because I love your channel but as far as Google's go no way they were great when they were younger now it's all about the almighty dollar trying to sell their baits to kids way too expensive overpriced were people can go get a Whopper plopper even a little cheaper than their baits or they can get stick baits cheaper than theirs they're just hitting up the kids I'm sorry but as far as googan's no thank you that's my opinion as a 60-year-old fisherman still fishing used to fish Red Man no way I'm sorry but I really don't like the googles it's all about the almighty dollar

  4. Hey man, love the content! Especially from a fellow SC guy. Looks like that Plopper at 11:35 got hold to a good one to straighten that hook out like that. Keep bringing the lessons.

  5. Walking style baits have been my favorite lure to fish for a long time. I fell in love with the original spook and super spook when I was a kid. Now I own walking baits from almost every brand. Recently one of my favorites to use is the Berkley Highjacker. I got on the plopper train late too but I enjoy the heck out of it. Every bait can be critiqued as a knockoff. I have several River2sea ploppers, several berkley choppos, and a revolver. The great thing about buying baits from different companies that are similar is typically I find small differences in how they retrieve and sit in the water. Ive fished a standard river2sea plopper and not gotten a sniff, then switched to a choppo that has a different profile and a lot more subtle "plop" and caught fish.

  6. Great video! I agree with what you’re saying about the line choice it’s hard to pick but honestly I like a good quality mono for a popper better than braid. As long as you let them eat it and then lean into them good I don’t have any issues really. But at the same time I will throw it on braid as well if I have a rod with braid already on it that I need to throw it on. Kind of confusing I’m sure but really you just have to play with it to see what you prefer. A lot of new anglers use mono for everything to start and that will work fine for a popper.

  7. Hey man, I'm up here in Richmond. Saw you rockin around Innsbrook. I only kayak fish the rivers up here, Potomac, James, Chic. I'd love to know what you like for top water on rivers. Keep on keeping on dude.

  8. I would like to hear anything thing you fish on river fishing 😂 I say that because I'm from Detroit and that mostly fish, ans now a got a kayak to get to some nice spots 🥳😂. So yeah anything with river fishing I'm all ears 🥃

  9. I see you had the revolver tied straight to your line with no swivel.. I have a super hard time with the whopper plopper giving me line twist. Does the revolver line twist like the plopper??

  10. Hello Brian that Googan lure "The Revolver" I have never seen that brand or style of lure here in Australia…I would love to get my hands on one of them…Googan is not sold in my country…Also I watch your videos regularly as I like how you like to explain your style of boating and fishing…When I fish top waters I like to run braid with a monofilament leader attached..Generally I run braid for everything but change between flurocarbon and monofilament leader attached to the braid…Just recently I have started fishing flurocarbon lines straight through…Anyways as said by others I like your way of presentation with your videos and the fact you involve your family as inclusions…A local boating business located nearby me are looking at importing Falcon boats and while they won't be the top of the line models I will still get to see them in real time…You can buy most other brands in Australia but since Carl Jocumsen hopped into a Falcon it has stirred a bit of interest here in Australia. Personally I make bladed lures and jigs and my best mate makes timber crankbaits maybe you might want to do a lure swap one of ours for that Googan top water that you have in possession…best regards Brian Bochow Australia…
