give it a yank set the hook if you put your right about a foot away from the reel it will give you better control when reeling it in makes it easier without a lot of strain on your wrist !!!

It depends on your swim bait. You can run them like a top water meets a shallow diver as well. The key is on the bump twitch then boom on a horizontal medium hook set
You can get away using a flipping stick if you have one. 15-20lb test. Also check out the 168 Swavers. For your retrieve…Cast out and give 4 full reel turns and then 2 small twitches. Repeat. It's a very well documented retrieve for glides. Sick vid!!
