As a transplant from up south New Jersey those are the exact baits I throw and also throw down here. I always have a jig with rage bug tied on crazy versatile and a 1/2 oz red eye shad 1/2 oz lipless. Not sure if the lakes have ledges down here but we kill with the jerk baits.
