  1. I haven't seen any bass busting shad for a week. I still pick up alot of bass on the laydowns with a worm or craw pattern. I did catch a couple on a popper today. That's always fun. Hopefully tomorrows topwater is on!

  2. We've had unreasonably hot weather this fall with some early wild temp swings along with drought conditions and low lake levels. It has the bass fishing all kind of tricky.

  3. My reason for watching this and other bass movement videos is to try to come up with a strategy for fishing my bass waters.
Some of what you say makes alot of sense when fishing ponds and lakes.
The waters I fish are mostly concrete lined irrigation canals. The walls and the floors of these canals are nearly flat and the depths are pretty consistent from three to four feet deep with very little in the way of structure, except for shopping carts or other debris that finds its way into the canals.
It basically all looks the same and flows the same and yet, it's not the same. I have to look for any irregularity in the water no matter how small. That's where I've had the best luck catching bass.
Generally, there are no steep drop-offs going from three feet deep to four feet deep.
I'll keep watching these kinds of videos because every once in a while, information that I can actually use in my particular fishing spots will come across.
