  1. Ok I get what your saying but if 50% of them are dying why don’t we see them floating back up cause we don’t see that. So explain that one and yes there’s a few only a few but not know where close to 50%

  2. So at the beginning of the video you said fish will be bouncing in the livewells they’ll die then 5 minutes later it was barotrama. Then it was we used to fish spinnerbaits in shallow water no problems…sooo let me get this right they won’t die in livewells because they weren’t caught with Livescope? Oh wait no it’s the hot weather months we need cold. Randy you’re something else dude!

  3. This isn’t just up there. It’s happening in a lot of well known fisheries. A friend owns a resort on an inland lake in Michigan. He said by Wednesday a lot of the bass from the tournaments are washing up on shore. Keep up the good fight and I’m pretty sure there are lot more people than you realize that are on your side.

  4. I grew up in the 1000 islands and have fished the st lawerance my whole life . I love tournaments but it sickens me when there is a bass tournament not just BASS or MLF but local state and lesser touring organizations . After every single tournament I see tons of floating Bass dead from tournament angling! The reason the bass are deep now up there is not necessarily all due to ffs when I was younger the fish were shallower because the water wasn’t as clean and clear , when zebra muscles and gobies came in the water got clean and clear and the bass got fat on gobies but now because of the clarity of the water all species up there are running deeper . I do agree MLF does it better than Bassmasters!

  5. So BASS will be there this week putting them in Livewells to die. Watch the weigh in and see Lisa recalculate the weights for dead fish after she weighs them.

  6. Mama says FFS is the devil. If BASS doesn't change the way they handle fish. Sick of watching these asses throw fish back like they were yesterday's trash. Think about it. Standing on the deck angler 6 ft tall releasing a fish at arms length the fish is 6 and a half feet about the water. So it is 4 to 5 times it's body length. So that 6 foot angler thrown off a 25 foot high dive.

  7. Fizzing absolutely does work. I've fizzled piles of bass, many of them on the St. Lawrence River. I caught the same fish 2 days in a row on a shoal. I had to fizz it the first time.. When I caught it the next day it was on top of the shoal in 8 ft of water and spit up a perch..perfectly healthy and still feeding. Very high percentage survive. Please please please, whatever you do, don't discourage people from fizzing!!! Madness!

  8. Watched some of the BASS tournament on Champlain, not only were the majority of fish caught deep, most of the pros were swinging fish landing hard on the boat floor to flop around while they pumped their fist. Seems like conservation is only an afterthought.

  9. So what are you saying Randy, stop fishing for Bass in deep water? We have been catching smallmouth for decades in deep water, WAY before the advent of FFS…fishing in the St Lawrence in December & January? Cmon man

  10. Ive came to the conclusion were in the decline of the sport. Organizations and fisheries management will do nothing about it until the problem becomes to obvious to ignore. So get used to it bc until fishing completely sucks and even the pro ffs guys are complaining this is gonna be the new normal.
