Just as others have mentioned, it does need a dab of oil before you use it https://www.youtube.com/post/UgkxSlytCJqozTF7EbdP4LWP-HUXf9WRDJ0e – put a few drops in through the convenient screw cap and you are good to go! I have fished several weeks with a couple of these, and I will be getting more in the future. I put these against my Abu Garcia Pro Max reel, and they actually perform a bit better than the Abu with some of my lighter cranks, and definitely just as good with the rest of my lures. My Abu is a bit more low profile and fits my hand better, but these are definitely not bad at all. You can almost get 3 of these for the price of my Pro Max. My only complaint is the thumb bar sits pretty high compared to my traditional profile Abu. Bring that thumb bar down a little and I’m sold on these all day long.

Started watching you about 5 days or so ago, from your most recent to here. I love how excited you get every time you catch a fish. If that isn’t passion/doing something you love, idk what is.
I’m not sure if you’ll read this but you ask us to leave comments of what we would like for you to create content for. How about you take one of us older guys like me that are in my sixties and no guarantees as to how long we will be around. How about you pick an older person and give him an all expenses paid trip to come out and fish with you. Personally I love watching your show but I don’t leave as many comments as I should. I to spend my time watching and seeing how much fishing has changed since I was a kid. I would love to close out my years enjoying fishing with you younger guys. Please read this and please consider the proposition of picking an older guy to fish with.

Hey Noah on the spinning reel you can switch the reel to the right side by twisting the little nob on the side and then pull the handle out and switch it to the other side
