Its been hard to leave the south shore, but i had a few decent blues before sunrise. Its interesting because in the spring on the south shore I'd do better in the day light, but in the fall on the ns id do better at night.
When I was a kid there was literally thousands of these guys every fall from New England to North Carolina in the surf. September to December. I saw a blitz on the outer banks NC in 1982 the day after Thanksgiving it was 5-6 miles long and lasted all day near Oregon Inlet I swear on the bible its true. Locals were filling up pickup trucks with them and we were letting them go and people would come up to us asking for them. The fish would also chase huge Speckled Trout on the beach fleeing from the giant Blue Fish. Nice video brings back memories.
Gettin Closer to 15 to 20 pounds I bet! And fought like 30! Cheap thrills on the Green Machine! LOL Don't mind me… I'm just jealous!
Why are you in a child's kayak out there? Get a real kayak my guy…..

Awesome! Did your first striper was on the blue snapper as bait?
That blue was something else! Have you hit the south shore surf lately?
Any idea how deep the water was where you hooked him?
Would you guess the length at 37-39 inches?
Sweet catch bro, good to see both species are still around biting strong.
Wow, what a monster blue !
Dope!

Is live lining pb the only method workin on the north shore rn?
Another beautiful day, and beautiful Fishes. The blue was just amazing!
